A low price is not a bargain if important facts are unclear. Use this checklist to compare the car, its history and the full offer before committing.

Match the VIN on the vehicle with the paperwork. Ask for the registration status, previous damage or written-off history, repair information and any available service records. Consider completing your own PPSR search before purchase.
2. Inspect condition—not just appearance
Body, tyres and interior
Look for uneven paint, panel gaps, corrosion, tyre wear, damaged trim, water marks and functions that do not operate as expected.
Air conditioning and electrics
Test the air conditioning, windows, locks, lights, audio, camera, controls and every feature advertised with the vehicle.
3. Read the listing literally
Confirm the exact kilometres, price, inclusions, known faults and whether a Queensland safety certificate is included. WOVI history and a Roadworthy Certificate are different matters; one does not replace questions about the other.
4. Test drive with a purpose
Drive at low and normal road speeds where safe. Check steering, braking, acceleration, gear changes, vibration, visibility and whether the car suits your daily use. If you are uncertain, arrange an independent mechanical inspection.
Before you pay
Get agreed statements and inclusions in writing, understand the payment arrangement, and do not let urgency replace inspection. A trustworthy sale should become clearer as you ask questions—not more confusing.
